I have always neglected this album because of the half-cooked deal that was the two albums preceding it. Sprockrooster (10) will not be happy with you guys…. I love the voice effects and how dramatic it is which is contradicted with the laid-back vibe of the whole song. Hmm I definitely scored this one too low with my 7, it’s a grower for sure. Sprockrooster (7) thinks it is all style/bop and no substance "Okay lyrically it does not really appeal to me, but I cannot help to move around this.” Whilst ohnostalgia (9.5) admires certain lyrics "Out the backdoor, goddamn, but I love her anyway" is a fantastic line. Munro (10) was bopping over the catchiness "The chorus feels anthemic, it soars over the production and gets stuck in my head for days at a time.” Remorque (7.5) feels like the song is rather autobiographical and loves the references to Janet "Why is Brendon singing about my actual life on this album? This song could have been me a couple of years ago. She was a tour opener for the band so I’m guessing that’s how she managed to feature on the track. I’ve never heard of Lolo before who’s also known as Lauren Pritchard.
